LHC Design were commissioned by Cornwall Council to develop a revised Reserved Matters application for 500 homes at Langarth Farm, Threemilestone, Truro.
The updated design approach for this application was developed with reference to LHC’s overarching Vision & Masterplan Framework for the are of Maiden Green Farm, Willow Green Farm and Langarth Farm and land to the north of Threemilestone, which encompasses a range of uses and a total of 3,000 dwellings.

Our brief was to work within the framework of the existing approved Reserved Matters application to develop an enhanced scheme which delivers higher quality place making, better delineation of public and private spaces and a distinctive ‘Cornish’ architectural identity.
The work was undertaken to a tight timescale to facilitate the purchase of one third of the proposed dwellings by Cornwall Council for their housing delivery programme.
