Astor Court is an Extra Care residential project with thirty apartments and integrated communal facilities. A high specification building, it includes the latest equipment to create an environment suitable for the care of elderly, infirm, vulnerable and disabled residents.

The scheme is fully accessible in accordance with DDA criteria. The ground floor communal facilities include restaurant, activity room and courtyard garden also available for use by local residents to create an open and informal atmosphere. Designed using sustainable and environmental techniques all met BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard.
LHC worked within a team to build a ‘community village’ as part of a regeneration project, key buildings designed included a the extra care housing, but also a mixed-use scheme, and a Business Centre.
