Our ‘Loop de Dartmoor’ Networking Ride has been POSTPONED

Our Loop de Dartmoor Networking Ride has been postponed.

We hope to reschedule it for Autumn 2020 or Spring 2021, and will inform everyone of the new date as soon as we can.

In June our Senior Landscape Architect, Tim Arkell, will be taking on Le Loop – a truly epic charity cycle event which follows the whole Tour de France route, one week ahead of the pros. Over 24 days Tim will conquer 2000 miles and ride every major mountain range in France.

Tim must raise £3000 in sponsorship for The William Wates Memorial Trust and we’re keen to help him reach his fundraising target. So we’ve organised the Loop de Dartmoor Networking Ride and we’re inviting colleagues from around the industry to join us.

Following one of Tim’s training routes, the ride will start and finish at our Exeter studio and will skirt the edge of Dartmoor counter-clockwise. It is a beautiful 100 mile route and not for the faint-hearted. If the full LHC Loop isn’t for you, opt to do a shorter section, Le Loop Lite, from Ivybridge to Exeter.

With lunch and cake stops, route maps and support vehicle taken care of, you can just focus on networking, the open road and a few hills! LHC is covering all costs associated with the ride; we just ask that you make a donation of £35 per rider directly into Tim’s fundraising account before the ride.

LHC’s Loop de Dartmoor Networking Ride
Friday 15th May. 8am start from LHC Exeter studio

Le Loop is the main annual fundraiser for The William Wates Memorial Trust which was established to celebrate the life of gap year student Will, who was tragically killed in South America. The Trust is a grants giving charity which helps the most disadvantaged young people avoid a life of crime and violence, and fulfil their potential. They mainly support charities that engage young people through sports, arts and education. www.rideleloop.org
