Tim Arkell joins LHC as Senior Landscape Architect

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Arkell, who joins the team in the Exeter studio as Senior Landscape Architect.

Tim joins LHC from the Waterman Group where he was Principal Landscape & Arboricultural Consultant.

With 20 years’ professional experience, Tim has delivered a full and diverse range of landscape services, at a range of project scales, all over the UK. He is skilled in leading projects from feasibility, to detailed design, through to implementation on site and aftercare management.

Particular skills include site appraisal and concept design, detailed hard and soft landscape design, and tree and woodland management strategies.

Head of landscape and Director of LHC Design, Paul Osborne said:

“Having known Tim for a number of years I’m very pleased that he is able to join us as a Senior Landscape Architect in our Exeter studio.  

“Tim’s broad range of experience and additional areas of expertise will strengthen our landscape team who are currently working on a number of exciting projects including Yeovil Public Realm; West Carclaze Garden Village; the Paddock Art Gallery in Sherborne, and the redevelopment of the Harlequins Centre in Exeter.”

The landscape team now numbers seven qualified Landscape Architects, who work with the urban design, architecture, interiors, conservation and graphics teams across our three regional studios.
