Eagle House now provides a dramatic gateway to the new park. Good use has been made of the site’s far reaching views by providing a large balcony at the southern end of the building, which also provides key shading. Internal space is a mix of open plan and glazed office. Eagle One occupy the upper floor and the lower floor is occupied by the Blur Group. Due to the slope across the site a spacious undercroft contains accommodation such as showers and bike storage.
The building has achieved BREEAM Excellent standard, featuring solar PV roof-mounted tiles as well as passive heat and cooling technology. A minimum 10 per cent of the building’s energy comes from renewables.
