Eagle One, the visionary developers of Exeter Science Park, unveiled their flagship headquarters as the first completed project within the 26-hectare park. This striking 3-storey, 1,100m² building set the standard for innovation, with LHC contributing to its architectural design, landscape planning, and interior solutions.
Eagle House serves as a striking gateway to the new Exeter Science Park, blending functionality with architectural flair. Its design takes full advantage of the site’s position, with a spacious southern balcony offering both sweeping views and essential shading. Inside, the layout balances open-plan spaces with sleek, glazed offices, creating a modern and dynamic work environment.
Eagle One occupies the top floor, while the Blur Group has made its home on the lower level. The building’s sloping site cleverly accommodates a generous undercroft, featuring practical amenities such as showers and bike storage, promoting an active and sustainable lifestyle.
Achieving the prestigious BREEAM Excellent standard, Eagle House stands as a model of eco-conscious design. Solar PV roof tiles and passive heating and cooling technologies ensure energy efficiency, with at least 10% of its energy sourced from renewables. This forward-thinking design demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and innovation, perfectly aligning with the ethos of Exeter Science Park.
