“I’m 21 and a software developer apprentice. I’ve been working from home since the pandemic. I do photography as a hobby with my phone and I just like to take pictures of what catches my eye!”

Category 2: People in nature

Winner: Paul Osborne
‘Misty Paddleboarder’

Judges’ comments: Great composition, exposure, sharp where it should be and lovely mood.

Paul is a Director and Landscape Architect here at LHC.

We are extremely grateful to our judges, profession photographer, Juliette Mills; the Director of the Devon Environment Foundation, Amanda Keetley, and landscape photographer David Entrican for giving up their time to judge the competition for us. All entries were judged anonymously. You can view Juliette’s beautiful portfolio here and find out more about our chosen charity the Devon Environment Foundation here.

We would also like to thank the two fantastic Devon companies who agreed to provide prizes for our competition. Rockfish Restaurants – they catch, prepare, sell and cook the best seafood on the planet in seafood restaurants along the south coast serving local, sustainable seafood prepared freshly each day. Artisan cheesemaker Sharpham Dairy handmake a small range of award-winning English cheeses on the Sharpham Estate in a bend of the River Dart, using milk from their own Jersey herd and goats’ and sheep’s milk from local family farms.
