LHC’s Coronavirus COVID19 Policy

LHC Design Coronavirus Policy – Updated 29 April 2021

We continue to review and update the measures we have put in place to make sure we continue to offer a high quality service to our clients, and ensure our staff can work safely with our clients, partners and stakeholders during the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

As a design consultancy the risks to our clients and supply chain are minimal. We have, however, taken the following actions to reduce the risk of spreading the virus:

  • Our offices are open although with a limited staff presence. The majority of team who are able to do so are working from home in line with Government guidance. We have appropriate IT and other systems in place to enable us to deliver our full range of services.
  • Vulnerable staff are being encourage to continue to protect themselves in line with government guidelines as required. Isolating staff will continue to work from home and remain in regular contact with their clients and colleagues. We continue to share current Government and NHS advice with everyone within the company, so all are aware of and encouraged to take precautionary measures.
  • We are able to host essential face-to-face meetings in the office, with safety measures in line with Government guidance. We also have facilities in place to meet via phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc and will continue to use these to ensure we continue to work safely and effectively to meet clients’ requirements.
  • Where appropriate and safe to do so we are attending essential external meetings and site visits in line with Government advice. We are undertaking a risk assessment for all site visits and meetings, and put in place appropriate measures to protect our team, our clients and others from potential infection.

We are continuing to review and update our guidance in line with Government guidance. We are therefore monitoring the potential implications very closely and will advise our clients of any issues that may impact upon their projects and will update our plans/advice where necessary.

Please contact the relevant LHC Design Project Lead if you have any queries regarding ongoing risks to projects arising from COVID 19, or any other matters.
