Brand new bike racks in time for Cycle September!

Just in time for the start of Cycle September we have installed our brand new cycle racks, bringing our total up to five for the Exeter studio.

The three new racks were kindly provided free of charge by Devon County Council under their scheme to help workplaces and their employees make smarter travel choices, and encourage sustainable travel. Visit www.traveldevon.info/travel-devon-toolkit to find out more, and many thanks to Devon County Council for such a great initiative.

Local firm Newstone Paving & Landscapes carried out the installation – see Ant and Finn pictured – and the racks were full the very next day.

We’ve got 10 staff signed up to Love to Ride’s Cycle September so far, including two who have just bought new bikes through our company Cycle To Work scheme and are keen to get the miles in. Not too shabby considering our staff are scattered around the region and probably only around 10 live within cycling distance.

We’re in training for our charity Three Peaks Challenge on 14th September which will see us climbing (and cycling between) Dunkery Beacon on Exmoor, Higher Willhayes on Dartmoor and Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor to raise money for Young Devon.
