Following a two-year community consultation, Cavanna Homes has received planning consent for 53 two, three and four bedroom homes in Stoke Gabriel, designed by LHC. Located within South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the development will include a new community employment hub for small businesses and will provide much needed new housing in the South Hams.
The LHC landscape team have designed dementia-friendly gardens for residents of a new 60 bed care home in Ottery St Mary. The care home is being built as part of a wider masterplan which LHC designed and successfully secured consent for in 2012. We’re pleased to have been responsible for the important outdoor space providing circular walks, sensory gardens, mini ‘raised-bed’ allotments and a peaceful environment.
Two affordable housing projects for DCH in Plymouth have secured planning consent this month. The first, in Savage Road in the St Budeaux area will provide four houses and four apartments; and the second will redevelop a brownfield site at the gateway to the wider regeneration area of Devonport. The site lies next door to LHC’s developments at Granby Way and Ker Street, and will provide five houses and six apartments.
